Monsters Come Up Big With 5-3 Win Over Hamilton To Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – For two periods, the Lake Erie Monsters and Hamilton Bulldogs matched each other goal for goal, but two unanswered third-period markers secured a 5-3 victory for the Monsters (37-28-3-7) over the Bulldogs (32-35-2-5) before a crowd of 9,144 at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday.

Ryan Stoa led the way for the Monsters with a pair of goals, including the eventual game-winner, giving him five goals over his last four games. The Monsters will now conclude the regular season on Saturday night when they host the Rochester Americans at The Q in a game that could decide the playoff fate of both teams.
